Owners Chad and Sindye Alexander are the proud parents of 4 children, have experience as teen-crisis foster parents, and have also operated a successful daycare when they lived in Gaylord. MMWD looks forward to working together with you to best meet the needs of your child and your family. Our goal is to offer a balance of pre-school learning with a family atmosphere. We view our care as a building block for your child's development. We nurture, educate, socialize and prepare your child for their future. We have bi-weekly preschool themes to incorporate structure into play and learning. We have created a flexible, theme-based Preschool Program that fits the needs and schedule of the varying ages of our daycare group. We include basic sign language and beginning Spanish. In addition to all of our educational programs, we offer the chance for children to just be children in a safe, loving environment. We believe that communication is extremely important, and welcome your comments, concerns, instructions, etc. We will also communicate with you with a daily log for your child (infants only), and by voicing any concerns and sharing happy achievements with you! Also, we should mention that we are certified in both Infant/Adult CPR and Pediatric First Aid & the daycare is licensed and fully insured.
